Main Idea: We must re-assess the way we spend our time so we can find a healthier, holier lifestyle.
What do you do to rest? What would you do if you had more time to rest?
Do you ever feel overwhelmed with hurry? What in your life keeps you the busiest?
In what ways have you seen busyness negatively impact your relationship with God? How has it impacted your mental health?
Walk It Out:
What could it look like for you to readjust your busiest day next week? What things could you cut out of your schedule?
Practice: Spend at least 15 minutes each day praying and reading your Bible.
Pray: Pray over your schedule. Ask God to help you make wise decisions regarding your time and responsibilities so that you can remove constant busyness from your lifestyle.
Memorize: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Phillipians 4:6-7
