NEHEMIAH WEEK 3

Jul 12, 2026    Pastor Mark Grange

Rebuild What Matters Most | Nehemiah 3–4

What do you do when the work God has called you to feels overwhelming? The book of Nehemiah reminds us that God isn't looking for superstars He's looking for ordinary people who are willing to say "yes."

In this message, we discover how God rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem through everyday men and women who simply took responsibility for the section of the wall in front of them. As we follow Nehemiah 3–4, we'll see that God doesn't ask us to rebuild the whole wall He asks us to faithfully build what He has placed in our hands.

Even when the people faced ridicule, criticism, and opposition, they refused to quit. They worked with all their hearts, trusted God for strength, and stayed ready to fight for what mattered most. Their story is a powerful reminder that the same God who strengthened them will strengthen us today.

Whether you're rebuilding your faith, your marriage, your family, your ministry, or your purpose, this message will encourage you to keep building and keep trusting God.

In this sermon you'll discover:

God uses ordinary people not superstars to accomplish extraordinary things.

Don't try to rebuild the whole wall; faithfully rebuild the section in front of you.

God will give you the strength to build what He has called you to build.

Opposition doesn't mean you're on the wrong path it often means you're making progress.

Fight for your family, your faith, and the people God has entrusted to your care.
