Abiding in Gods presence

In this powerful sermon, we are reminded of the importance of slowing down, seeking God first, and making His presence the priority of our lives.

Through the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42, Jesus teaches us that while many things demand our attention, there is one thing that is truly necessary: sitting at His feet and listening to His Word.

Jesus also calls us in Matthew 6:33 to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Psalm 27:4 gives us a picture of the heart that longs above all else to dwell in God’s presence and behold His beauty. And in John 15:4–5, Jesus reminds us that we can accomplish nothing of lasting value apart from abiding in Him.

This message challenges us to examine what has captured our attention and invites us to return to what matters most: His presence, His Word, and a life that remains connected to Christ.
